Marshall, Texas is excited to announce the new Downtown Concert Series “Voices: The Heartland Concert” presented by the Marshall Symphony Orchestra and the Marshall Regional Arts Council. This is the 12th year that these two organizations have teamed up to bring great live music to the East Texas area. This year kicks off a new concept for the partnering organizations that brings the talented singing voices of the area on stage to perform with a live band and live symphony orchestra. Local and regional celebrity music artists will judge 2 qualifying auditions and one final audition before determining the solo artists or “Voices” that will perform on stage under the big outdoor tent Saturday, September 21st in Downtown Marshall, Texas. The concert will feature classic and contemporary country hits from the “Heartland” such as Zack Brown, Vince Gill, Allison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood and more! Voices from all over the area are encouraged to enter. The auditions will take place at OS2 Pub, Legends Social Club, and Telegraph Park- all local Marshall venues for great live music.
